Truc Lam is a Zen temple sitting on a plot of land on a hilltop overlooking the beautiful Tuyen Lam Lake. We spent a leisurely afternoon there. It is a working temple with monks and nuns performing their daily cores. When one prayed and meditated, the monk on duties would gently strike the bell and the resonance of the bell was the most soothing sound we had ever heard that touched the very sensitive part of our souls! Thank you to the Truc Lam monks who performed this wonderful ritual!
