This is my favourite building in Dundalk. St Nicholas Church, popularly known as The Green Church because of its copper spire, is the oldest building still in use. It dates back to the 13th century although it was extensively rebuilt and extended since then. It is still used as a place of worship by the local Church of Ireland congregation and is also used as a venue for concerts.
