A light snow fall covers the Dava moor and shortly after the sun came out and some of the snow started to thaw leaving tufts of golden grass to poke through beneath a suitably gorgeous sky flecked with dispersing cloud. On the brow of the hill stands an old abandoned bothy its derelict condition attracting wildlife to its crumbling shell. The wood post fence leading up to it creates a tremendous leadline the western facing flank of every post reflecting the gold of afternoon sunlight.
