One of my favourite little cascades is the one situated close to the Old Man of Storr on Skye. It is however quite a difficult place to photograph and still give a sense of place. I adopted a fairly precarious position and waited for the Old Man of Storr to emerge briefly from rolling clouds using the diagonal stepped flow of the falls as a foreground carefully choosing an exposure time that renders the water in my preferred way.
