Museum Exhibit

Mareeba, FN Queensland

A lovely little country town with plenty to see... "a multi-cultural district rich in
wildlife, museums, coffee and wine, with clear blue skies, Mareeba has a history going
back to the gold mining days, and a strong sense of community spirit which sees
support for traditional outback sports such as the famous annual Mareeba Rodeo".
Two friendly ladies managed the local museum and took great pride in telling
us much about the area. Our grandchildren loved the time spent here and for
us it was a step back in time.

Yes, an interesting place to visit. We also enjoyed the coffee factory and museum that showed history of coffee production around Mareeba.
