While photographing green Jays at my deer feeder, a rabbit hopped under the deer feeder to take my attention. Just as I was about to snap a picture of the cottontail, I noticed a brownish object move into my periferal vision. It was this female bobcat stalking the rabbit - actually waiting for the rabbit to come to her. When I took a picture of the cat, the camera noise flushed the rabbit. The frustrated cat looked around for a few seconds, and then returned to the thorn scrub.
