8:00 pm Shimbashi underpass, Tokyo: 170 Yen (US$ 2.4) cream puffs are selling like hot cakes as fast as they can make them. 4 co-workers - one on the till, one filling the pastries, and two on production.
I passed this kiosk daily on the walk to & from my hotel. At peak times 4 workers were serving.
At end of week I just had to invest £1.60 to try the cream filling - a taste quite similar to english custard!
