I wound up with a crop of 35, far more than I wanted to deal with. I can store only so many loaves of persimmon bread. I learned that one could freeze persimmons whole, then wrap them individually and freeze them. They they can be defrosted and used in recipes as if they were fresh. I tested this and found the defrosted persimmons were sweet and delicious, if a bit collapsed.
