This sequence was taken to make images of Io and Io's shadow as it passed in front of Jupiter. The shadow began before I was ready to begin imaging as is seen in this image. Also the Great Red Spot (GRS) was also visible, but the shadow would not quite be able to catch up with it before it rotated out of view. The next image is the same as this one, just without the labels.
Once again these were imaged with a C-8, a Powermate 2.5x and a ToUCam Pro.
By the time of the very last image the viewing had degraded considerable as the shadow exited, and with the impending sunrise, I packed up the telescope and went back to bed.
