Evening on the Karpaz peninsula - our stay coincided with the Cypriot national holidays (both Greek and Turkish) but even so we saw precious few people, either Cypriot or tourists, out and about

This really is a deserted and empty place, but beautiful all the same - we had a huge beach almost to ourselves every evening and found plenty of quiet and secluded beaches during the day too
