This was a Brazilian young woman, one of a young couple who had just got married. There was another couple on the outing who had just got married. To the young lady's distress, the hat in the picture came off on one part of the trip, going across a rather bumpy pontoon bridge made of 44 gallon drums with planks laid on top. On bicycles, the warning was, don't ride in the middle where your tyre will risk puncture. I got over the bridge, riding and giggling like a maniac (it was fun, but hair-raising trying to ride between the nails in the middle, and the water on either side). Once over the other side, we sat waiting for the others to come and they stopped in the middle. She had lost her hat, we later found out and there were efforts to fish it out. From there, i they had difficulty starting to ride again, to get up a decent momentum on the bicycles.
