Fast, sharp and as wide as it gets for a zoom on a full frame camera. Solidly built and balanced nicely.
The only drawbacks I can think of are the inability to mount filters and the giant saucer like lens cap that only awkwardly fits into my pocket and is potentially easy to lose.
