13th - "Memento"

Cheltenham, Glos.

Christopher Nolan's wonderfully dark film: "a man, suffering from short-term memory loss, uses notes and tattoos to hunt for the man he thinks killed his wife" (IMDB). But what's relevant for the Challenge is that he also uses Polaroid photos to help him in his quest to find his wife's killers.

I was spellbound by this film when I saw it many years ago. And for different reasons, I'm spellbound by old photographs - do you recognise a young Finn at his grandparents in late 1994?? LOL, a memento indeed!!

Great shot for this film Doug. This goes very well with this film title. I need an assistant or a Sherpa or someone like that to scan the hundreds of rolls of negatives I have.

One of my favorites. What a well written screenplay. Just bizarre enough for my twisted tastes. How about that for one photographers can appreciate! Well done Doug.

The excitement of getting the film back from the developers, one of the great losses of the digital age.
