On the saddle, at the perfect viewing spot (when the weather's fine) to see both west and east. Ba Na Hills, about 42 kms from Da Nang. The French elite retreated here when the heat got too bad. (I doubt the French hoi-poloi got a chance to...) Certainly an enchanting spot - but from my point of view, too many people now.
