One REALLY neat thing that Perugia has done well, is to excavate and open for tourism,
parts of the vast uncerground Eturscan city over which modern Perugia is built.
An escalator and steps lead down to this area which is beautiful lit and easy to walk through.
One wonders how much is left to excavate and how much more will be accessible in future years.
