This gallery includes images from a recent trip to Italy, beginning in Venice and continuing through Tuscan and Umbrian hill towns, as well as other major sites of art historical interest. The trip for our group of about 20, was sponsored by Chi Omega, a national sorority found on many university campuses in the US.

The travel company, Montgomery and Gardino arranged the trip, and it was personally conducted by Contessa Alessandra Gardino Montgomery, who so very beautifully showed us "her" Italy, sharing her vast knowledge of the history and customs of some of these smaller, often overlooked Italian treasure towns.

I cannot express my admiration enough for Ale's gracious and charming demeanor, and her unflagging energy and enthusiasm. Thanks Ale.... for a wonderful experience !
