Staffin has a little black and white marbled sand beach and looks out towards the fluted pillars of rock on Staffin island beyond. I arrived with a couple of other photographers on a blissfully fine Spring morning and watched the orange ball sun of a new day rise through vapourous clouds near the horizon. The lengthy exposure conveys the mood of daydreaming most delightfully.
