Taken

Chiang Rai, Thailand

It just so happens the Olympus has a multiple exposure mode, so this challenge gave a great opportunity to test it out.It was great fun and highly addictive.

The first image was the flies, erm, at it. The first image is lightly super-imposed on the live view display while the second shot is composed, to give an idea of the finished shot.

After trying several (some bizarre) combinations, I finally settled for the simplicity of the mosquito net in my hotel room.

It only works with raw images, and the final result is a raw image with the sensor data combined, so it is very close to the concept of a true double exposure.

You can check out some of the other combinations in my gallery

Thanks for the comments Peter and seethelight. seethelight, I think I agree about the version with the self portrait.

I decided to move this here to make may for a Canon image in eligible. Regards, -Najinsky

Very elegant composition Najinsky! I didn't actually realize that digital cameras had the multiple exposure capability built in. I can see how this would be addictive. Beautiful image! I'll have to browse your gallery later. Thanks for sharing!
