The Fezouata somasteroid Cantabrigiaster fezouataensis has recently been described by Aaron Hunter and Javier Ortega-Hernández(2017).

Do you know precisely where this fossil was collected, geographically or startigraphically? This is a novel somasteroid-like beast, but having some hints of ophiuroid anatomy too. I;ve seen a number of specimens as faint, iron stained impressions from the middle of the Fezouata along the western edge of the "Zagora depression" but they lack plate details. Yours is the only one I'm aware of that shows good plates.
