Bangkok Traffic: "Bangkok Boredom"

Bangkok is known as one of the world's most dynamic cities,
but if you happen to be stuck in one of the city's infamous
traffic jams, you ain't going nowhere! This lady looked bored
to death and I know that feeling, I was stuck in traffic
beside her :-)

To the credit of the Thai government, the traffic in Bangkok isn't
nearly as bad as it once was, and the traffic jams I encountered
were few and far in between.

Excellent shot. I found it quicker to walk when was there (1995&96), although walking wasn't good on the lungs! BV

You caught the expression of boredom perfectly. The focus on the face is perfect. V

Yes , Sam , I remembered when I was in Bangkok,
it took so long and the traffic was so bad . Nice picture of the expression you have had here , she does look so bored .

I remember in '05 we were told that part of the tour to a temple was canceled...gridlock! One night to see a show, we stared out with our guide and taxi, were told the traffic ahead was gridlocked, we went up to the rail for a short ride and then had to walk the rest of the way. Everyone is thin there...must be all the walking!

Love the eyes you caught here.

I know this feeling and situation. Rio is full of cars, each day many more. The streets are the same for years...same size, etc..so, there is no rush time anymore...it's crazy all the time.

Your shot is great dear Sammy... :) V
