At Home, Sydney, NSW

I noticed that I was sneezing an abnormal amount yesterday, but that was more annoying than a real problem.

Today I went to work and could barely keep my eyes open. On the busiest day of the week, with many things not balancing, this was not a good state to be in.

Even at lunchtime, I could hardly stay upright.

By early afternoon I was feeling distinctly feverish. Thankfully I had some Disprins in my drawer. Even more thankfully, they weren't 18 months out of date for once. That eased the fever back, but did nothing for the lethargy.

On the way home I stopped to pick up some traditional cold remedy, peppermint cream chocolate. It has antiseptic properties, don'cha know. Or so I tell myself. Beside it is a packet of Codral Night Time tablets which I'm not planning to take just yet since although I'm a touch sniffly I'm not really congested, and I think the best cure might be to give my body what it wants right now which seems to be (aside from peppermint cream chocolate) sleep, and plenty of it.

(Edit: I didn't realise this until I saw the uploaded photo but in anticipation of a comment; any connection between the colours in this shot and those on the flag of a country which was recently visited by a 1/32nd part Irish US president is purely coincidental. I'm feeling so spaced out at the moment that I had to try to remember what the button thingie on top of the camera does, I certainly couldn't have planned something like that intentionally!)

Anyhow it was an intriguing coincidence, are you feeling better now?

I think I'll have some of that medicine on the right
