Aside from having reservations for our first few days in Turkey (in Canakkale), and our last week in Istanbul, we made reservations on the fly (thanks to wifi and Jen's iPod Touch). It worked just fine for us in Bergama, Selcuk, and Pamukkale. Not so well in Göreme. Our hotel was still under construction so there was no lobby, and the room smelled like new paint/floor finish. So we hung out at a little place called the Panorama Cafe, and because the weather was mostly cool and sometimes rainy, the tea and wood stove were quite welcome! Here we are with Barış, the proprietor.
