Tree-type Things

Hackfall Woods, North Yorkshire view map

Mmmm - the green colour of these leaf thingies was beautiful with the afternoon light shining through but I'm not sure the pic does them justice, the composition is a bit higgeldly-piggeldy and all over the place, and the nearest in-focus leaf things are a bit non-descript compared to the background...thoughts?

Looks nice with these lush colors and details, but maybe your macro would have been better with a more shallow dept of field. These types of shots are never easy and the background tends to take on as much importance as the subject itself.

Funny I was going to take a shot like that on Saturday, but I got distracted. Glad you weren't.

I think the focal point is lovely, may be a crop, it's worth while, love that fresh green.

Looks ok to me but a more shallow DOF would make them stand out more and concentrate the eye on the bit you want...

It was worth capturing, and you can only playwith what you got.
