We finally went to this auction house/gallery when it was open and asked to see the old Zsolnay by Lajos Mack that I had photographed a while back through the grate (and fallen in love with). There was no possibility that we could actually afford it at $21,000, but I just wanted to see it in person to satisfy my curiosity. It was no longer in the window (my heart stopped!), but they retrieved it downstairs. After looking at it for a long time, we realized that we honestly didn't like it as much as we thought we would (the very brown color, mainly). Thank goodness. But at least now we know.
