This photo of a taxi cab with a crescent moon (something unusual in Japan) on the top of it, was taken after an evenings walk through Pontocho, just before I headed to the Shinkyogoku arcade to look for something for dinner.
Early in 2010, I began looking at a wonderful gallery of Japan photos by John Paskey. I must say I was truly inspired by the evening shots he has there. Unfortunately my taxi roof shot didn't turn out as good as the two wonderful ones he has posted to that gallery, but looking at his gallery has certainly encouraged me to get out an shoot in the evenings more often. So look forward to more evening shots from me in future...
