The cobblestone road has an interesting history. In the 15th to 18th century the ship will travel to and from Macau and Portugal. Some small ships are light and got tossed about in the ocean. To resolve this problem, they laden the ship with rocks and when they reached Macau they unload the rocks and use them to make the cobblestoned roads.
