The largest sunspots in years as seen with a Questar Duplex and an Imaging Source DMK31AF03 firewire camera.
The sunspot numbers are 1169 (left) and 1166, the large group at lower right. I used a Macbook and shareware software - Keith's Image Stacker - to assemble about 200 frames out of 301 taken.
