Where's Waldo indeed! Look at the left side of the picture for the bird's bill and two closed eyes, and follow it back to the end of the white tail feather. The extensive white in that feather identifies the bird as an adult male; the bird has apparently lost its outer tail feather, as this is the outermost feather showing, and only inner feathers have this much white.

I wish I could take credit for good eyes, but a very helpful park ranger pointed the bird out to me. And at first I couldn't see it even after he told me where it was!
