This image of NGC-3992 is a 100% crop from NGC-3992/NGC-3953 with a field of view of about 25 by 30 arc minutes.( a little under 1/2 degree) Centered about RA: 11h58m DE:+53°10'.
Celestial North is to the left and Celestial East at the bottom in this image in the Constillation Ursa Major (Big Dipper).
NGC-3992 is a barred spiral galaxy and only 85million light years away give or take 25 million or so. Pierre Mechain noted the galaxy in 1781 and Charles Messier catalogued it in 1783.
UGC-6923 located to the left of the bright star in the upper right and UGC-6940 (the smudge in the middle of the picture) are sattelite galaxys of NGC-3992.
The smudge in the lower lef corner is PGC-37700. I don't have a catagog for this galaxy and didn't find any info on the net.
This image was taken the night after the full moon and all the moon light made getting a better image difficult at the present time.
