Battered by Time (B Stevens)

I wanted to create a feeling of elegance, battered and decayed by time.

I cropped to include only essential parts of the house, tree, and foreground,
darkened the image, and used a few texture overlays and a clean-edged grungy
frame from OnOne Photoframe.

Bob, Very nice. I love it. Your crop really is wonderful and the texture adds so much. The Mitchell's would be proud. I haven't mentioned this before, but I asked a cousin of my husband's (who lives in the Mitchell House area) if he knew anything. The cousin is in his mid-60's and he said that the house has been abandoned since he was a kid!!!

I like this version, Bob. Makes me feel like I am looking at the old place from
inside an old frost-covered window. Very creative.

This is highly original Bob.
The snow effect is topical and very effective, and the crop suits your purpose well.
All in all a most striking version of the abandoned old house.
