Beached

Lake Havasu City, AZ

This boat, with its sails in taters, does not look very sea worthy (even lake worthy). It has a sticker for 2005 on the side, so that must have been the last year that it was launched. It is used now as a sign for a beach-side bar.

Hey, it is a great boat. So much character. I'm glad it is still being used for something!

Or more likely NOT a very particular neighbor of your, Michael :)

Completely at a loss for words here...
A one-of-a-kind shot, sharply rendered...
Makes me wonder if the owner was a particular neighbor of mine!

Cindy, very odd indeed! By photographing this up close you really captured the details of this rather strange boat. Nice job!

Fascinating Photo Cindy.
A most peculiar design, if it was designed. Looks like it just happened.
The large cabin would catch the wind more than the sails.
The shredded sails, masts and rigging do look attractive and eye-catching though.

Avast ye land lubbers! Looks like a pirates kraftee to me.
Great shot, Cindy - it looks like the superstructure was built on a
catamaran hull. Its not going too far with those sails though!
