10th - Vital Function Gate

Leckhampton Hill, Cheltenham, Glos. view map

One from our walk yesterday - the gateway to relief!! Workers in the fields need somewhere to go I suppose, and in here is as good a place as any, it's certainly more modest than just ducking behind a tree! Don't quite know what happened to the light with this one - it's kind of 'not right' in some way but I don't know why or how...it just looks slightly odd, especially around the top of the hut

A necessary door!

This is so funny. All the sheep in the background add to the humor somehow. I see the Michael diagnosed your light problem, but I hardly notice a difference and I think you did a nice job on this!

The light is coming from the right rear corner of the Porta-Potty as illustrated by the shadow on the left, the foreground is acting as a reflector but the light is not reaching all the way up the door hence the darker area at the top of the door. A good exposure all things considered.

What a strange thing to find in the depths of the countryside.

What I notice immediately here is that the handle seems to be missing. I like David's comment.

A door that is sought after in many places.
