I was on my way to my observatory for a night of astronomy when I chanced upon this sunset just south of a village called Appin. I was dumbstruck by the intensity. Each colour was well pronounced by itself, and presented shades of each from the reds, magenta, yellows to blues. Each colour had something to say, but the mixture of them all was intoxicating.
The winds were high up, and fast, which changed the character of the presentation before my eyes. By the time I changed lenses or recorded the details of the exposure, the light had also changed. The sunset ended as quickly as it appeared, and I was left wanting more. The following photographs are in sequence of the event. They allow me to relive the memory.
