My lad and I had gone down to Glen Tanar to try and catch sunset, but we were a bit late and nothing much materialised, however behind us...I had never seen the earth shadow (blue grey band above the trees) and the belt of Venus (pink band above the earth shadow) so clearly. Twenty minutes later the moon made its appearance.
