Morven Moon Set

I managed to get out for sunrise to my favourite Loch Davan location. Sunrise is behind you and for about 10 minutes Morven goes this incredible pinkish white (I haven't tweaked the saturation)when covered in snow, just as the moon sets. At the same time the wind breifly flutters Morven's skirts at the summit.

I find it hard to explain what sheer pleasure it is to be here at sun rise/moon set you never know quite what is going to happen, the light, the colour the absolute silence.

I think it is summed up by some words I saw attached to a Pbasers picture - I can't remember who and I unashamedly use it here.

'Look at me standing here all alone
too happy to be cold, too excited to go home
not believing that this is all for me,
just for me a present too big to hold'

This is stunning Chris and well worth the early rise! Great exposure to hold the moon details and expose the mountain side correctly :)

A winter wonderland indeed Chris. This really grabs and holds the attention. You were rewarded well for your early rise!
