Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) Alex De Meyer is starting a new role in West Berkshire Local Policing Area (LPA) working as a Safer School Partnership PCSO alongside PC Tim Emery.

This is the first time a Police Community Support Officer has been in a role of this kind in West Berkshire.

The role, which he started at the beginning of October, will see him working alongside PC Emery to develop a partnership between the local primary schools and the police.
