A note about this shot.
This was taken yesterday at the cemetery by Shiloh Church.
The stone represents the life of Mr. Poindexter, who, according to the stone, died at the rip old age of 99, just two weeks before is 100th. Hal nailed this.
He lived 69 years after fighting in the Tennessee Cavalry at Shiloh Church. For an entire generation, the War changed their lives, and brought a whole series of men into identification with each other. The fact that CSA (Confederate States of America, to those of you overseas) is, I think extraordinary. The fact that someone here still cares...even more so...
