Common Raven

A sunny day, blue sky and mild temperatures, made walking a pleasure this morning. A common raven flew around Rockcliffe Park, giving its wide and wonderful repertoire of calls, all sorts of burbling, bubbling, even bell-like sounds! He landed briefly, I got two shots from a great distance (this is severely cropped), and then he burbled off across the park!

YEah, they hang out a lot around here. They don't stick around in one place too long! Great shot!

Beautiful light and a lovely pose. A bird too often neglected by photographers. V
