1200 Seconds

One more image from GTC 2010
The North Star and Milky Way work well in this image.
It always makes me feel good that this gallery is very popular.
While I think the images are very easy for me to produce others have difficulty with it.
You really have to learn the night sky to get the camera position right for images like this.
Looking in the viewfinder is almost a waste of time, and composition is very hard.
I go with my gut for the camera angle and adjust after the first few frames.
