Priests' Changing Room
Found in front of the main temple, the room has nine vaulted niches. Here the Inca priests would have met to prepare for their ceremonies. There were two classes of priests, those that were upper class and privileged, the direct descendants of the original Incas who performed the most important rituals and celebrations, and the lower class priests who were made up of other ethnic groups and who would have carried out minor ceremonies.
