Are anacondas actually blue? Or with flat, curved sides? No matter, this work by Michael Le Grand of the ACT has an attractive geometry about it, and the saturated colour works well against its maritime background here. Le Grand has been working in steel since 1974, and recently retired as Head of Sculpture at the Australian National University.
The sculpture is painted with epoxy automotive paint.
