I did have some long shots of this sculpture, incorporating a fellow photographer taking a shot of it. Unfortunately when I loaded them up into Photoshop I noticed that as she was squatting down to shoot, she created quite a considerable gap between the lower end of her top and the top end of her jeans, if you know what I mean and I think you do. I shall therefore keep to this close-up of Stephen Marr's sculpture about displaced people at a crossroad in life. The sculpture is solid wood; I particularly like the way he's used the direction of the grain in this.
I decided to open way, way up on this one and get in close to keep only the furthest figure in focus. I was pleased to see that it came out pretty much as I planned it; having the fast speed of the 50mm was nice at moments like these.
