I was married here in this majestic old church to my first wife Judy on May 30, 1969 at the ripe old age of 21. This church building was dedicated on January 15, 1905 after a seven-year construction period beginning in 1898. The building replaced the wooden church built in 1860 on the same site and the name was changed from St. Louis Catholic Church to Sacred Heart.
