Thanks all. While I did plan much of this shot, I did not expect to get so many rays in the starburst. During a 30 second exposure the light actually rotated several times which must have contributed to the complexity of the star. I do plan on returning though. This shot is taken from inside the harbour at low tide. I think there is another nice shot from the beach looking into the harbour that I will try to get next time.

I never would have thought your technique would have worked, Steve. One of the beauties of being "somewhere in my 50's " is the idea that being wrong is OK.

Really nice. It looks like you get some high tides in that area from
the watermarks on the pilings.
