One of the many support buildings on the Island. The Island housed many staff members, guards and their families
who lived on the Island during their employment. Interestingly, some of the now grown up children who lived
there said they felt safe and remembers their childhood fondly. One of the highlights for them was the daily
boat ride to and from school in San Francisco.
