Yavorivskyi National Park was established in 1998 in Lvivs'ka Oblast' of Western Ukraine and is subordinated to the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.
Most of the park territory is covered with hornbeam-oak, pine-oak, oak, and in lowlands - alder forests. There are also small areas of beech forests, which grow hills and ridges.
From the 700 plant species growing there, about 40 are listed in the Red Book of Ukraine.
