At the road in the woods between Nemiriv and Verbliany there's a shrine in memory of this place.
The "white beech" (today withered already) was a witness of many incidents.
To mention battles with Tatar hordes, death and grave of a young Cossack lad named John, a successfull escape from the tsar's prison made by a young woman carrying a home icon.
People would say it was a miraculous place and the beech became a symbol of it, people put on it many paper images of saints, notes, neck-worn medals.
They also believed the spring water near the tree is a miraculous one.
