This composition really adds to the dramatic effect of the picture! Great grey and rick red colors!

Very nicely composed Steve... little does he know it, but Jaden McIntyre become a little more famous than he was yesterday... a nice early morning shot...

Very well_composed, Steve.
Like the varied shapes and edges...really places the viewer at the scene.

Thank you all for your kind comments. Yes Pat, a local business man bought six sections of the wall (although probably not off EBay :)) and has loaned them to the town of Truro. Pete and Terry, I too was a little surprised but when I looked into it I found that pieces of the wall exist in almost 70 locations around the world. Hopefully they serve as a reminder of what can, but should not, happen. Hal and Rudi, thank you for adding a human dimension to the display of this image.

Cheers
Steve

So somebody from Truro, Nova Scotia bought some Berlin wall online
from ebay... at least we didn't buy the London bridge... wonderful framing
and interesting shot.

Unusual is right, great framing.

Wonderful image, Steve. I too am surprised that
parts of the wall had been moved to other countries.

This is interesting - I had no idea the wall had been taken to other sites.
Sounds like some interesting stories to be told by Hal and Rudi?

As someone who has seen the wall in person, and from the wrong side, at the
time that it was still very much in operation, this is one powerful image!

Wow, amazing that some came over the pond. I'm glad it is down and hopefully for good. Great job on the shot, looking through. This has a lot of history behind it

Well l'd never have expected to find bits of the wall in NS, Steve.
Brings back sad memories of the divided city.
l crossed the wall through Checkpoint Charlie into East Berlin.
