The Baroque Garden at Frederiksborg was laid out in the 1720s, under the supervision of architect Johan Cornelius Kriger. The garden is symmetrical in its design and extends a line from the central axis of the castle far into landscape.

Several changes were made to the garden in the following centuries, but in the 1990s it was restored, complete with cascades and parterre flower beds.
