Crab shell

Grand Pre, Nova Scotia

The shore was littered with crab shells, but this was the only one that I saw which was intact. The rest were broken into bits, possibly due to the gulls scavenging the shells for a meal.

This is a pretty neat shot Gillian. I can imagine if you cropped it more it would be just about a work of art. Those colours, that form, that texture. V

Neat shot - love the color - we don't have crab shells here but lots of mussel shells. V
